Comments: Due to my spinal deformity, I have had several spine procedures done over the years and have met with countless doctors. Several had even told me my condition was "too complex" and that nothing could be done to help me. I first saw Dr. Carmody at TSC five years ago and he was able to not only repair my spine allowing me to live my life again, but he also showed incredible compassion as well.
Recently, I had a fracture to my lower spine and was unable to use my left leg. I was told I would need immediate surgery to alleviate the pressure being put on my nerves so that I would have a chance to walk normally again. To say that I was beyond stressed is an understatement.
